I've been to WDW enough to know what attractions to go to first in each park, but Universal/IoA....not at all! We are those people that what to do everything & the big/main rides multiple times. We will be there for the 1st time, staying on property, for 2 full days & a 3rd day until 2:00ish. Dates are July 14-16. We are at WDW July 6-14. I am open to any advice as to what time to leave WDW July 14 to make sure to get to HRH with enough time to check in & get to park before gates open. Anyone have a ballpark rate for cab fare from WDW to Universal? Also....in what order should we plan to hit attractions? And finally....do any of you recommend Wet-n-Wild? It is included in our ticket. I know we don't have to decide ahead of time, but was hoping to get feedback from others that have been. BTW....we love water parks, too. Basically, we love it all!!! Thanks!

if you go by cab, could be $35 + gratuity.
some post they have paid anywhere from $35 to $45.

i would leave the motherland around 6:30 am and arrive at the darkside hotel around 7:00. this would give you enough time to check in, process the express pass and be at the entrance line of the park for when it is close to opening.
this is considering a 9:00 opening (8:00 for hotel guests)

the park sometimes allows the EE guests in 15 minutes or so prior to the opening.

early entry allows you to hit parry hotter.
the other parts of IOA will not be open.
wait, there have been some dates where spiderman is open early also so check with the TM's when you enter the park if anything other than HP will be open for you.

some like wet and wild, some prefer using the hotel pools.
since this is your first time at the darkside, do the parks totally.
if you feel you are done with them, then make the decision to do wet/wild.

transformers will be open also during your stay.
the studios will more than likely have early entry for onsite hotel guests also.

hit the rides that are open during the EE first.

you shouldn't have issues of what rides to hit once the park is officially opened to everyone.
with the express pass line usage, your waits should not be over 20 minutes.

i do a few of the rides in the regular lines early morning before the rush happens.
you miss some of the story lines when you use express lines.
mummy, dr doom, spiderman, MIB are the rides i skip the ex lines early morning.

Thanks so much!!!

I won't be staying on site so no early hour or express ( too pricey!) -- any tips for my first time plan for IOA? where should we run to first - we will be there at public opening ( me and 2 teens)
