What to do Columbus day?

Any suggestions please?
I expect the Sunday to be VERY busy in MK, however its our first day, and we always have breakfast at CP, so we will have to go to MK. Monday, Cloumbus day, any suggestions please? MNSSHP last year was on the Tues night, so we might do this early in Oct, if the dates for this year are the same. When are park hours for Oct out? and EMHs please?

We were there over Columbus Day in 2004. (arrived that Sunday). YES - MK was really really crowded. You'd be ok to do CP and maybe a couple things - but then get out of there by lunchtime or a little after.

I don't know how the rest of the parks are...but MK was NUTS!

I think they're posting the hours 6 months in advance...so maybe some time in April they'll be posted? Not sure about EMH's. Just keep in mind that the hours could change.

We did AK on Columbus Day in 2003. It was hot and crowded! We're going again this year, same time. Thinking I might try a water park that day and then dinner somewhere fun. Anyone ever done a water park on Columbus Day itself?
