One of the persons in our small group will be taking the Segway tour at Epcot. She has to be there by 8:15. I'm sure we will be dropping her off a little before 8:00. I'm just wondering what the rest of us could do for the hour we will be waiting till future world opens at 9:00.
Once I park the car it will be parked for the day.

I thought of riding the monorail over to MK and grabbing a treat on Main St. but MK doesn't open till 9 either. I don't think there is anywhere in FW that has pre opening breakfast. I'm thinking our only option would be to bring fast food coffee and a biscuit and find a bench to chill and eat. That's not a bad option. My next thought is where to find spot to do that.

Any and all ideas are welcome

I say ... spend your time chatting with the CMs. You never know what that might lead to ......

hm, could monorail hop to TTC, then to poly, get coffee and pastries, jump back on monorail to TTC, then to Epcot... that would take about 40 min.

We got to Epcot around 8:15 one day and it was pretty cold. We rode the monorail all the way until it got back to Epcot again. It took about 30 minutes (maybe a little less?) and the monorail takes you in the Epcot park before it opens so that's pretty neat to see. Then, it was about 8:45 so we got out and waited for the park to open! I think rope drop is after Spaceship Earth so you could always get in line for Spaceship Earth. The ride still doesn't start until opening time, but you'd have a place. The only thing is that's what everyone else has in mind, so there was a bunch of people doing this when we were there.

Does the Princess Breakfast at Norway accept preopening reservations? or
maybe go check out some of the Epcot resorts like Boardwalk, Yaht Club, etc.

Let's see, Epcot pre-park-hour time killers
. . . count the triangles on Spaceship Earth
. . . sleep in your parked car
. . . time the space between monorails trains
. . . memorize the park maps
. . . do stretching exercises to run for Soarin' Fast Pass

Yes, you can do the Princess Storybook dining as early as 8:00. It is a neat walk through FW and to Norway in an empty park.

Bring a couple of boxes of Dunkin' Donuts Munchkins and pass them out to those crazy enough to be there an hour before rope drop. Give the white powdered sugar ones to kids in dark shirts.

Visit the kennel and demand that they give you your dog back. When they tell you that they don't have your dog, threaten to sue unless you get a Dream Fastpass.

Ask every CM you see where the bus to the Boardwalk is.

Pretend you are a CM and tell people where to park.

Bring breakfast and find a quite place to sit and chat in the shade. You'll probably only be waiting for about 45 min before they let you in the turnstiles.

A) there are a lot of triangles
B) when I sleep in parked cars aliens abduct me.
c) 12 minutes
D) I have the park maps etched in my minds eye.
5) no running in the park, but healies are highly encouraged.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

This one really struck me as funny. :lmao: The main reason is yesterday we had a box of the powdered donuts and my DS (17 y/o mind you) wipes the powdered sugar all over his black golf shirt. My DD (7) then decided since he had to change she would add a hand print for good measure.:thumbsup2
