I am about to book our flight but it looks like we arrive around 10:00 am. I know it will take time to get to our resort(staying at POP). Are we allowed to keep our luggage at the resort and hang out until check in. I know our son will be super tired so we kind of want to stay around the resort. Or I guess we can go the park. But again, what do we do with our lugguage?

You can check in when you get to your resort. Your room most likely will not be ready yet. I would suggest storing your luggage with luggage services and grabbing a bite to eat in the food court. Then if you pack, or grab, bathing suits you can change in the bathrooms and go for a swim. Or just take a walk around the resort. You could also grab a bus and go anywhere. DTD wouldn't use a day of your tickets. You could walk around and grab a bite to eat before heading back to the resort. They will send you a text message when your room is ready to let you know! I love that!

you can leave your luggage with the bell service and they will bring it to your room for you later on. also even if your room is not ready you can still hang around the resort and use the pool and everything else at the resort. also you can get your kttw and go to the parks if you really want to do that as well. once your room is ready they can call your cell or text you to let you know. if you are lucky your room might be ready by the time you arrive and you will not have to worry about any of this. we have arrived in wdw in the morning and have been lucky enough to have our room ready once we got there.

I would check in. The room may be ready. If not, bell services can hold on to your luggage. I believe, there was only one time when our room was not ready. So, we went grocery shopping. Also, you may want to see if a different room is available. I've done that, if I don't like the room I was booked into. When we are waiting for ME on departure day, we hang out by the pool (some of us in the shade) or sit in the food court.

It would be nice if it were ready when we got there. I was planning on packing so we could hang out at the pool. The know our son will be EXHAUSTED, so doing the park the first day might be a bit much. However I think we might go to the park in the evening for dinner.

We usually check in. Half the time our room has been ready. If not, bell services holds the luggage. We head off to MK. it's a thing with me that I have to walk down Main Street first thing! We love the early arrival.
