We will be visiting HH for the first time this august.
We have a 3 yo and a 12 yo. What is there to do, what should we not miss?

I know my fellow DVCers are full of info, TIA

So are we bouncey. It will be our first visit as well. When will you be there?

I believe we will be arriving Aug 25 or 26, it is on a sunday. How about you?

The sunset dolphin cruise is going to be really nice at that time of year. Not sure about the bird and aligator tour as Spring and fall are the best times of year, August might be REAL HOT to wander about, but with plenty of drinks you should be OK. A late afternoon beach trail ride would probably be a nice way to spend a couple of hours. There are a lot of water activities you can take part in.

We're going down next month so I'd be interested in any replies also.

Really, don't plan a thing. (Okay, go on a Dolphin cruise)

Beach, then Pool, then Beach, then fish, then Beach.

Eat, Eat, Eat...

We all plan our WDW vacations so much, the two times I have been to HH, I learned NOT to plan.

Lots to do on the island.Just try this link out:http://www.hiltonheadisland.com/index.html
Our family has a home in the Peninsula, behind Shelter Cove Mall, across the channel from the DVC main bldg.Love HH just don't get there much.Have fun on your trip.:)

Adventure Cove is a nice change for the kids, and especially if it rains. Bike paths are wonderful in HH. Easy to access from Disney. We love to shop at the outlets because we live in a small town. My kids also love to go to the Dollar Tree in HH and pick up fun toys for a $1. This entertains them on rainy days or if we visit during the winter.

I've got lots of information about the HHI activities on my web site.

Enjoy,
Tommy
