What to do at Downtown Disney

We have never been to Downtown Disney. We will have a full day available. I was looking for some suggestions on things to do there. Will be 2 adults, 2 eighteen year olds and a 6 year old. Thanks!

Our favorite things to do at DTD:

1. Eat - quite a few fun TS that are worth trying, some of which are not on DDP. Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck Express (either one) are some of our favorite CS on property.

2. Shop - World of Disney Store and the Disney Christmas shop are worth visits, even if you don't buy anything.

3. Pin Trade

Don't go to DTD expecting to be entertained the way you are in a theme park. It's not the same, but it's still worth a visit.

We've never seen Cirque, gone to Disney Quest, or seen a movie at DTD, but those are possibilities, too.

No more than 1/2 a day. It is a themed shopping center and a group of mostly so-so restaurants. Worth a visit but no where near a day's worth.

If you have an extra waterpark & more visit, or you have premium annual passes, the teens might well enjoy a visit to DisneyQuest. Worth a visit with an option/PAP, but probably not worth paying full admission for. The six year old probably won't enjoy it.

We love DTD but never spend a whole day there, though we do get over there more than once during our trips. I agree with Earl of Sandwich and Wolfgang Puck's Express for CS meals.

We have done Cirque and it is an excellent show so if you are planning a whole day at DTD, you might want to look into this.

We haven't been to DisneyQuest for years, since soon after it opened and it was still pay as you go. I refuse to pay a flat admission fee as I don't think it is worth it.

There is a movie theater at DTD so you could always catch a movie.

Obviously, shopping is the main attraction.

We never go there during the day, only at night for some browsing and a fish and chips at Cookes of Dublin. No way you would want to spend an entire day there.

The Movie theater there is very nice with stadium seating. My DH and I were there recently and took a midweek break from the parks, we had lunch at Earl of Sandwich and then went to a movie. It was nice and relaxing. There are multiple screens so someone could take the six year old to a kid's movie and the older teens could see something else.
