I booked less than 11 but more than 7 months out for a 2BR at SSR in March, as soon as I had my points. They were available then, but I hear even SSR is now booked.

As for the WHY, the first two weeks of December appear to be REAL popular with DVC people because all the holiday stuff is up and running, but its the cheapest points time. VWL is especially popular, and there was probably an MS feeding frenzy booking it.

Did the OP call day-by-day at 11 months, or waited for the checkout day window? That could have made all the difference.

Well I booked a room at Pop Century, not happy about it, really do not have the money to pay for a room when I have to pay my dues almost at the same time, and my daycare business is really slow lost 5 kids out of 12 OUCH! cause of the State pulling families from their programs, and of course that is where my money comes from....

this is when a husband (number 3) sounds good (no that would be nuts) but another pay check would be nice LOL

akv value view will be available to make a ressie for AKV owners on 6/13, all other dvcers will be able to make a ressie on 6/27. Hope this is an option for you. Good Luck
