We'll be flying into Orlando, landing around 10:30am... we have a car service ararnged to take us to the food store and then to the All Star Movies...we'll either be leaving our luggage or checking in, walk around the resort, and then probably take a bus over to DTD. We have dinner PS @ Chef Mickey's for 6:10pm. Any suggestions on what to do after dinner? I was thinking maybe we should do some resort hopping in the afternoon, and then head o DTD after dinner?

3 more days, I can't believe it!!!

We enjoyed strolling around the GF and Poly our first night. We watched the fireworks from the Poly -something new for us and very enjoyable. We thought about hopping a boat over to Fort Wilderness, but guess we will save that for another trip. And of course DTD is always a good option, too.

We like to start our trips w/ dinner at Chef Mickeys then shopping in DTD afterwards. It's a great mood setter.

ride the Monorail. Ride around to see the MK the transfer at the TTC & ride to Epcot & back. And depending on the time check to see when the Water parade is. And watch from the poly, cont, of GF.

WE are also going to Chef Mickey's our first night--think our ressie is 5:30. We are gonna ride the monorail to MK and then stroll down Main ST--maybe do a ride or two if not crowded, then catch the parade and Wishes. Can't WAIT!

I've heard if we pay to valet park at Cont, we can stay as long as we like...so leaving the park after Wishes we just go get our car out of their lot....lets hope that works! Hopefully I am still young enough to charm the parking lot attendants! :rolleyes1

Hi! Chef Mickeys and DD was my original plan for our similar situation. Now I'm thinking that since our arrival day is a Wednesday, and that SEEMS to be the trend for EMH that we'll go ahead and add a day to our tickets for only about a total of $12. I think we'll do an early Chef Mickey and head over to MK. Then, of course, we'll be exhausted and I'll have to make the next day a late day....oh well! Have a blast on your trip!!! :cool1:

My thinking is you have to be on Main St your first day--even if just for a stroll--to get you in the proper mood. Plus, we won't be spending a whole day in MK for another 3 or 4 days--I can't wait that long for a Main St fix.
We are going to Epcot the next morning--and have a very light "wanna ride list" over there--so we will just get there when we get there!

Where do you watch the fireworks from at the Poly? We are looking for things to do our first day/night also. Great ideas! I would like to find a good place to watch the fireworks. thanks!
