What to do about ADR's??!!

We are leaving in 4 days and my mom decided to join us at the last minute (my dad recently passed away unexpectedly, and this is a get away trip for her). We have already made our ADR's. She is not sure that she will go to all of the sit down restaurants with us. So my question is.... what do I do about the ones that I have made? Should I call and add her in, or should I just wing it and show up with one more person ?

I think I would call first-- what's the worst they could say- "No"... and if they can then great! If not, I'm sure you could just bring her and pull up an extra chair (might be a little tight, but you could make it work) when you show up. Sorry to hear about your father...

This same thing happend to us last Sept. My BIL decided 2 weeks before we were leaving to join us. All our reservations were for 8... when we arrived we told them that we had one extra person with us.... NOT ONE Restaurant said a word about being an extra person with us... I am sure others have done it...sometimes these things happen...

Go ahead and give it a try but remember the difference between 3 people at a table for two and 9 people at a table for 8 may be more significant.
