What to buy for a 12 year old boy? Help...Please

I'm starting to panic.....DS will be 12 on the 3rd March and I haven't a clue what to get him

I have asked him what he would like, but he can't think of anything.....he can't even think of any PS3 games.

I'm at a loss and I don't want him to be disapointed on his Birthday.

Any sugestions would be welcomed

What about one of those 'experience' days?
Ipod?
Is he a sports fan - maybe a tour around a stadium?

what about Lego, does he like that, my son is 13 and he loves the huge exclusive only thumbsup2 and pricey sets hahaha) that you can get direct from lego website, He collects them so it makes an ideal pressie.
