What to bring??

Hi Folks,

I thought there was a post about this before, but of course I can't find it now. Planning for our first DVC trip and wondering what we need to bring. We will have a car so needing to make a stop isn't a problem, but I figure if I have it why spend the money again. Any suggestions?

Things you may want to bring are: coffee filters and supplies - coffee,creamer,etc. You'll get a start up supply of a days worth beyond that you'll need to get. Will you have a 1bdrm unit or larger? Laundry detergent tablets (again you'll get a 1 day start up supply) - they're the easiest to transport and work great. Other than that, bring what you'd normally bring on a regular vacation - clothes,swim suits, toiletries,etc. If you plan to cook while there, head out to either publix or wal-mart or any of the nearby grocery stores. You can also get a small selection of groceries at the general stores within the DVC resorts.

P.S. No way do I pack all that - we go light, LOL. It does help to remind me of things I tend to forget, though.

If you are cooking, I say bring a small amount of spices (including salt and pepper), that you usually use, and ziplocks/handiwrap too!

We've never had paper napkins in our villa. Paper towels, but not paper napkins.
