What to bring?

Going to a party with some friends and have no idea what to bring. I know that burgers, totellini salad, chips, salsa, and drinks are covered. I think someone is bringing some sort of dessert. I can't decide what to bring. Any ideas?

We went to a cookout a couple weeks ago and I took some fruit that was a huge hit. I just tossed some strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries with some french vanilla yogurt. Kids and adults loved it and it was super easy!

A nice wine for the hosts.
Cupcakes from a nice cupcake store (these can be eaten at the party or for the hosts).
Another side dish perhaps? A leafy salad maybe.

My mom's boyfriend brings this to every family function we have and it's a huge hit...

2 packages (8 oz size) cream cheese
2 cans Rotel tomatoes
2 pounds Jimmy Dean Hot sausage
1 or more bags tortilla chips

cook sausage in skillet, drain, place all ingredients in crockpot till gets to "dip" consistency. Serve with Frito's scoops or tortilla chips.

If you can't lug a crockpot along, find an easy dip on Krafts website and serve with crackers or chips.

small upscale veggie tray-peppers, squash,green beans, tomato jewels, asparagus and some great dip. OR-a really good fruit salad.

Fruit, some cut up, some whole. Frankly there is never enough fruit at parties!!

Fruit with some type of dip, chocolate or fluff is always good, salad or some cut up veggies w/ranch dip, what about dessert?

this time of year I would do a tomato, basil and mozzarella salad. If you do a couple of different sizes of red tomatoes and also get yellow ones and cut them all in basic wedges it looks so colorful. Can you buy the fresh mozzarella in little balls there? I can't remember. If so get a package of that to add and the fresh basil of course and then just mix some olive oil and red wine vinegar about half and half and drizzle on top. Add a bit of sea salt if you like.
