I know I've seen a thread that addresses this but I can't locate it now (should have printed it). Anyway, I was wondering if it is advisable for my 13yo to wear his swimsuit?

Here's what I have on my list: (we have 18 mo and 3 yo)

wipes
stain stick
diapers
swim diapers
swim suit
change of clothes
swim shoes
snacks (goldfish, princess/scooby doo snacks, ritz bitz)
bottled water ???? or should we invest in a refillable water bottle?
sunscreen
2 towels

What am I forgetting???

We were there in April with a 6 month old and 2 1/2 year old and each day in the parks we brought less!! It depends on your style, but we found that we used very little of what we brought. It wasn't warm enough for getting wet, so we didn't have bathing suits. You should probably think about if you will really use them in the parks- it is a lot to carry. I think by the end of the week, we were bringing a few diapers for each of the kids and a change of clothes. Depending on where you are staying (or if you are driving), you can always run back to the hotel or car if it is really necessary.

We did bring snacks and drinks in the beginning, but by the end of the week we brought one water bottle and no snacks- ds wanted what he saw or what we ate-and when the water was done, we bought something in the park. Now, of course, depending on your budget, you may want to do it differently, but we found that between the two kids and the stroller, less was best when getting to and from the parks! We had 3 adults or more most days too!

Also, don't forget camera, and extra batteries and film. Extra film or batteries will cost you your right arm inside any of the parks! Our DD is 3.5, we are going in Dec. and we are bringing "waiting in line activities" to the park as well. Like Disney Trivia Questions from the Disney game, bubbles. And she has also requested that we buy her, her very own camera (you can get a Winnie the Pooh one at walmart for like $12) so she can take her own pictures. Which will be very cute, i am sure. "Disney from her eyes"!!

Have a fun trip!

I did buy some personal battery operated fans and a misting fan. Also have the cameras ready with extra film and batteries.

I'll have to get some activities for the waits - good tip.

On that old thread it seems like I read not to bring a diaper bag, instead bring things in ziplocks so you don't have to go digging - anyone ever tried that?
