What to Bring December 19th to 31st

What type of clothing is everyone bringing during mid to end of December. I usually do the layering thing but I like to bring a 21" suitcase. I checked the 15 days weather and it looks like it is warming up but who knows.

We're leaving on the 20th and I'll just pack the night before after I check the weather. We've gone in December before and it was in the upper 60's and low 70's during the day. We even went swimming and were comfortable. But I've also heard people say the highs have been in the 40's in December. You can never tell. My guess is that we'll wear jeans and t-shirts during the day with a sweatshirt at night.

You REALLY need to plan for ANYTHING for WDW this time of the year. Temps fluctuate like crazy, and you just never know what it will be like. Even looking at the 10 day before you leave home is not going to give you definite weather.

This week daytime temps have been in the 80s on Sunday, cooler on Monday, back in the 70s now, but expected to be in the 60s Fri/Sat, and then warming up again.

We are in the same boat as you. We are going the 14th - 22. I keep checking the 15 day forcast and right now it looks really nice. (esp. Coming from Ohio where its 25) But I plan to pack a little of everything...We can have layers of colthes esp. for the morning and evenings when it's a little bit cooler...

I've been down there late Jan. and early Feb. before so it's probably the same as Dec. When we went in Feb. it was gorgeous upper 70's to lower 80's. When we went in late Jan. it was warmer at home in VA then it was in Florida. It was freezing the first 4 days and then warmed up.

We'll be down the week of Xmas this year and we plan to bring...some shorts, t shirts, sweatshirts, a turtleneck or two, and jeans and cover ups or robes if we swim. I wouldn't go so far as to say bring bring 5 prs of shorts, 5 jeans, etc. just a little bit of everything.

We are trying to decide the same thing. We'll be there the 18th-24th. I think we'll bring layers as well. Also, don't forget to bring ponchos in case it rains. Have a GREAT time!

We are leaving in 3 days and I still have no clue what to bring. I have packed for myself... a couple of pairs of shorts, jeans, capris; tshirts and long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts... Talk about extreme, I even packed our bathing suits right in with our hats and gloves! Haven't decided on that big coat yet! In VA, this has been our coldest week so far! I just want to be prepared for anything, especially with little ones!! And yes, I have a poncho for each of us - I hope I don't forget to take them with me to the park.

During early months stages, I thought I would follow the guidelines and put each day's outfit in a ziploc bag... can't do that if I don't know what the weather will be!

I was trying to take smaller suitcases, but just switched one of them to a larger one this morning. I've justified it because I'm sharing one with DD.
