What Time?

A couple of questions.

We originally booked to have dinner at 1900PF at 8pm but Fantasmic starts at 7pm that night. What time would you suggest changing our dinner reservation to?

Also on our last night we are there at Magic Kingdom Wishes starts at 8pm and we have an 8:45pm reservation at Chef Mickeys. Should we change this and what would you suggest changing it to?

If you are watching Wishes from the observation deck at the CR, your time is fine.

To make a 7pm F! I would suggest having dinner at DHS. If you are set on 1900, you could try to get in right when dinner service starts - 4pm, I think. Then you need to factor in time to eat, travel time to DHS, walk gate to amphitheater, and be in line by 6:15. Too much aggravation and rushing, imo.

I would plan dinner around 8:30 or 8:45. Fantasmic! is about 25 minutes long, but it takes a while to get out of the amphitheater. Fastest would be to take a taxi. The actual taxi ride shouldn't take more than 15 minutes. If your dinner reservation is late enough you could take the bus to the GF, but I would allow an hour from the time you are walking out of the park because you may have to wait for the bus and it may make stop(s) before the GF.

Wishes is approximately 15 minutes long so I would watch it from Main Street. I think the best view is on the street parallel to Casey's corner or the ice cream shop. Head straight out of the park immediately after the fireworks and walk over to the Contemporary. It'll be about a 15 minute walk so you should get the CM by 8:45.

I think your running too close. To get from HS to 1900 PF after the show will take at least 45 min. I like wishes at the park and after the fireworks it is usually a mass exit. I would think at least 20 to 30 travel time.
