Just got through! And flights are WAY more expensive than I thought. Shoot.

We are flying out of Pittsburgh too, I was hoping for a lower fare too, but I took the $100 each way and ran.

Same here. Had no problem booking our Nov/Dec trip using Travel Awards. Added EBC to my ressie, then it wouldn't let me add it to DH's.
Then tried booking Jan. trip and Oops...there it is!

If you call southwest 1800IFLYSWA within 24 hours of booking a flight regardless of the class, they will give a 100% refund to your form of payment...So don't worry, your husband will not kill you, you will get all money back!

No, I booked it May 20th when I realized they opened up Nov 1st.

I did try to call, line was really busy.

I found a flight I didn't like at more than I wanted to pay, clicked all the way through, put our names, bds, payment etc. and then it went to the OOPs screen when I went to finalize.

I didn't even get that good of price - 112 for flight down and 150 on flight back. I'm holding off for now. We haven't thrown out the idea of driving yet, and with those prices, looks like that where we're heading.

I got through once to see the prices. We're going Nov 15-27 out of Chicago Midway. It was $112 going down and $246 going back. We're going to be getting off DCL 11/27, so we can't get on a flight before 11am. It looks like we'll pay around $1950 for the five of us RT, but it's still cheaper than flying out of O'Hare, which the cheapest would be $2357 because of all the baggage fees.

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones.

We only needed one way. We usually fly jetBlue. They opened up their fares through January 4th. Our dates are December 30 - January 7.

Got $109 per person one way. $360 for 3 people after all fees and taxes. Plus $30 for early bird check in - I'm at $390 for 3 people.

Using credits, and an old TruePass on jetBlue, got our flights down for $210 for three people. I'm that for 3 people, roundtrip over New Year's Eve, I'm paying $200 per person!!!!!!!!

I have a friend flying in from Phoenix, and by the time I had mine booked and went back to look at Phoenix/Orlando roundtrip, the error messages were popping up.

Fingers crossed that everyone gets what they need for a reasonable rate!

Was able to finally book our flights!! $981 round trip for 4 of us from Chicago!
I think that was a good deal. Just keep trying and the web site eventually will work.Good luck everyone!

I had everything picked out for our trip between Christmas and New Year's, then stupidly called my wife to confirm times. By the time I hit "Purchase" at about 10:50 a.m. (EST), the website started giving errors.

I tried to call, but the phone number is continuously busy.

I opened up a new window to start over, but kept getting errors there, too.

I kept my original purchase page up, hoping that a purchase would go through. At about 11:05 a.m., I finally got something other than an error--a notification that one of my flights had sold out.

So I quickly changed it to the next flight (which increased my cost by $160 and gets us in to Orlando five hours later), and it went through!

Not ideal, but at least we got a flight down and back.

We have NEVER paid over 1000 for the 3 of us to go to MCO!!!
Got through on their site just now and it was 1018.20 for the 3 of us from Denver. (and, no - not holiday travel)

WTH are they thinking?! Even United is LESS than them!!! (granted, not less once we pay bag fees, but still... United is never lower than WN!)
