What time will restaurants in Disney Village close?

My family and I are in London now. We are taking Eurostar to Paris tomorrow. We are planning to be in DLRP on Monday and Tuesday. DH wants to do a quick and light counter service for lunch each day in the park. Then he wants a nicer meal for dinner after parks close. What time will Disney Village restaurants close? Can we eat there after park closing?
Thank you!

Disney Village restaurants close between 23.00 - 01.00 depending on the day of the week.

I don't think that any of the restaurants in DV are that nice or great value so I'd be eating my main meals (t/s) in the park at lunch time and then just going to EoS at night.

Thank you.
His biggest issue is that we only have two days for the parks and they close early. He wants to make the most of our park time. He thinks we should use our time riding and enjoying scenery. He is afraid of "wasting" park hours eating.
Do you think 2 days will be enough even if we do table service for lunch each day?

Or have dinner in one of the onsite hotels restaurants, there are 10 of them, open until late, and all reservable for dinner at City Hall in the main park or your onsite hotel concierge.

I agree with your DH - I'd do the counter service or "eating on the run" plan too on a 2-day trip, then have a relaxing dinner after the parks close.

You can waste a serious amount of time queuing for c/s in DLP, we don't do fast food well here :rotfl:

Elaine has a good idea re the hotel restaurants but I wouldn't know where to start recommending them never having stayed in a DLP hotel.

If you wanted a character meal you have Inventions in the DLH which is a excellent buffet according to all reports :goodvibes

I can recommend the buffet in the hotel New York, lots of choice and suits everyone's taste. For lunch you could always grab some filled baguettes fom the train station at dlrp, and then enjoy a nice evening meal. As carrie says, the cs aren't exactly fast food, and you can waste nearly an hour in these from my experience!

Thank you everyone.
Isobeljackmummy, your idea is great. All we need is something to hold us over.
We haven't looked at hotel restaurants. We will check that out now online. Thanks!

EoS in DV is rapid, cheap and tasty and it's only 5 minutes away from the parks same as the train station plus you don't have to leave the security zone and redo bag check to go there.

You've also got McDo in DV but they can be very slow depending on what time you go :)

So CarrieCat, it will be easy to walk to EOS for a quick lunch and then go back into the park?
I have read great stuff about EOS. If that can be a quick bite without killing precious park time we can do that.

Now that they've got the quick order machines, I find it very fast.

I went after park closing one night, it was very busy in there but we managed to get our food within 5 minutes of walking in.

Finding a table was another matter altogether :p

Not everyone has or wants to use a credit card for small sums though, as depending on your bank the charges can be really high

what are those?

They are machines where you put in your credit card, then place your order via the touch screen and it gives you your receipt with a number. You take this to a dedicated counter and you are supposed to get your food faster

Very easy to do you leave the park follow the walk round past the WOD store and through DV to EoS. If you are coming from the hotels on foot in the morning you will see how easy it is.

We often do this at lunchtime :)

Great. Thank you everyone! I will recommend EOS for lunch and a DV or hotel restaurant for dinner.
We are up packing now. We are scheduled to take the Eurostar out of London about 12:45 this afternoon. I am so excited to visit DLRP! We will spend a few days touring the city after visiting the parks.
