What time will I realistically get to Animal Kingdom if flight arrives at 10:35?

We are arriving at MCO on United at 10:35 and are taking the DME to Art of Animation. I am assuming we will need to eat lunch there because the kids (6, 4, 4, 3) won't be able to wait any longer. We will then take Disney transportation to AK. I schedule our first FP for 2:30 because I didn't want to stress. What time do you realistically think we will make it to the hotel/AK. Thanks!

If you are using the DME luggage transfer service you should arrive at AOA by noonish, if not a little sooner. There's always a slight chance it could take a bit longer but 60-90 minutes is the norm. If you are stopping to collect your bags before going to the DME bus, add another 20-30 minutes to the trip.

I'd definitely plan on being at the AOA bus stop no later than 1 p.m. if you want to have any chance of making those 2:30 p.m. FPs at AK, however.

Really? I would think 1:30 would be plenty of time, especially since you have until 3:30 to use a 2:30 FP.

We are using the DME luggage transfer and our first FP is for Safari from 2:20 - 3:20

I think you're right about that. I blanked on the one-hour window for some reason.

We allow 3 hours from arrival at the airport to walking through the gate of the park without stopping for lunch beforehand. Typically, DME takes 60 - 90 minutes depending on how long you wait at the airport and how many stops it makes before arriving at your resort. We check in, drop our stuff in the room and head to a park. Since you are planning to eat lunch at AoA before going to AK add another 30 to 45 minutes so barring any travel or flight delays you should be at AK by 2 PM.

You should be fine. At hotel by 12. One of you go check in, one of you take the kids to the food court. Out of there by 1 - 115. You will be walking into the park by 2 or so. Nice way to start a vacation!

as long as flight is on time you should be 'good'. Always can change the first FP if unexpected delay.
