What time to Weigh?

What time do you weigh yourself (for your regular weigh in, whether at home or a meeting of some sort). Do you find there is a "right time" to weigh yourself?

I always weigh in as soon as I get up on Sunday mornings. However, I find my hands are usually a bit swollen. Will that make a difference?

(Gee, some people will do anything to get a better reading, won't they? ;) )

Well personally i used to weigh myself first thing in the morning on a Friday, before the weekend started. But now that i no longer keep a set of scales at home i do it at lunch time wearing the same clothes and shoes every week! Everyone at work refers to it as my weigh-in uniform!
Swollen hands may indicate water retention maybe??? Not really sure, but if your hands settle down later in the day maybe take a note of what your wearing and weigh yourself then?
 
I weigh myself first thing Wednesday mornings before I eat or drink anything. I like the middle of the week b/c I tend to "cheat" a little over the weekends on the program so I get a couple of days to make up for in by weigh day.
 
I weigh myself first thing on Friday mornings, right after getting up and taking potty time, for me that works. Now DH seems to have a better WI after he gets home from work. He does do physical work, so that may have something to do with it. I say, do what works best for you and once you find that time/day, stick to it so that you have an accurate WI.
 

I weigh-in on Fridays -- in the morning, after I potty -- before I drink a bunch, after I exercise and before I shower. Ok, so I may be a little weird about it. LOL :-) :p
 
Thanks for all your imput. I am pretty sure the Bloat fairy is hovering nearby just waiting for tomorrow's weigh in. :rolleyes:
However, it is also just about that TOM, so I expect it.

It helps to anticipate it so I won't be disappointed when I see either the number hasn't changed, or even a slight gain.

In general, your hands will be larger in the morning, because your heart pumped all that blood and fluid up from your lower body while you were lieing down. So it should not effect a weigh in, because by the end of the day your feet will be larger. So it's all the same fluid, just moving around!:) That's why you never shop for shoes in the morning, but only after a full day of work and exhaustion, when your stamina is at its worst. That's my sure-fire cure for not buying uncomfortable shoes!:D
 
I weigh myself every Thursday morning at WW ... It's the longest time between the weekend and my next WI *lol* :) I tend to use a couple more points on the weekend than I do on the weekdays :)
 
I always used to weigh in first thing in the morning, in my birthday suit right after using the bathroom. But now that it is cooler I don't weigh in my birthday suit and find no difference, but I still visit the bathroom first.
 
First thing every morning, before I've had anything to eat or drink and with no clothes on. Although always use Monday mornings weight to record loss or gain.
 
I weigh every morning about 45 minutes after I get up and before I eat or drink anything. I have found that I weigh a pound or two more the very first thing but if I wait 30-60 minutes I get a better reading.
