what time to put for rental car pickup?

Ok, we have never flown in to florida and rented a car before. We have always drove down. So, our flight gets in at 10:55 What time do you think it will be until we get to the dollar service counter?

Also, we fly back home at 4:10 do you think 2:30 is an okay time to return it?

I'd say 11:30 for the pickup, and 2:00 for the dropoff.

They will charge you based on the time you actual take the car and return it, so I usually use my flight times.

There should be a spot to enter your flight arrival information and that is what you should give them - your flight # and arrival time.

The rental companies keep track of the flights coming in and if yours is delayed they will know not have your car waiting for you.

We were explained this in January when our connecting flight was delayed 1 hour. I called Hertz and they would have preferred us to have given our flight number not a time because they get the cars ready in order of arrivals.

From now on I will only give them the flight info and arrival time.
