Hello everyone! My husband's birthday is on Oct 2. He really wants to be one of the first in line at Dok Ondar's to get a lightsaber. We are staying at Pop. What time should we get in line for the Pop Skyliner, and how long will the wait be at Caribbean Beach? We will have a car, but I'm thinking the Skyliner will be faster. We are willing to get up as early as needed

If RotR is still only standby, I would plan to be at the Pop Skyliner 90-120 mins before park opening. It won't be running yet but it will give you the best shot at being towards the front of the crowd.

Thanks! Do you know what time the Pop Skyliner will start?

your biggest problem will still be transferring at CBR. You will be behind everyone staying there.
Agree with others, be in line early to be at the front of that line.

I would Uber to the gas station across from the Boardwalk resort and walk from there.

I used the Skyliner to rope drop DHS on Saturday, 9/18. We got to the Skyliner station at 7:15 for a 9AM opening, and were the second group in line. They let us board at exactly 7:30, and there were only a few people in line at the CBR hub when we arrived there. There were maybe 4-5 groups there ahead of us. I can't remember exactly when they started sending people from CBR, but we were among the first at the tapstiles at DHS. In front of the busses, seemed like! I was shocked by how well the Skyliner worked for rope drop.

Unfortunately, like the previous posters said, with the 50th anniversary crowds and RoTR being standby, there's no saying if you will have a similar experience. It seems impossible to say at this point.

Thank you! This is good to know. We will leave plenty of time, but I think taking the Skyliner will be quicker than driving our car!
