What time to get in line on BF?

I have never ventured out for early morning BF shopping. Missing sleep wasn't worth fighting those crowds.

However, this year Target and some others are opening at midnight, which works a whole lot better for me! I can shop and then come home and sleep in! My two older kids want to go with me, so I'm excited to experience the madness first hand.

Having never done this before, how early would you recommend we get in line for the midnight opening? 11? earlier? I'd like to get an iTouch (on sale plus $40 gift card), among some other things.

I'm looking forward to my first BF!

For some of the stupendous deals? Absolutely no later than 3-4 hours before store opening. Tip - take a chair.

Thanks! I don't know if the iTouch (free g/c) is a stupendous deal. Hmmm. I guess we'll play it by ear. I'm not fighting stampedes for laptops or t.v.'s (especially not on my first BF!). This will be a learn as I go process

I would get there at least 3-4 hours early like the previous poster mentioned. The iPod touch will more than likely be a hot item since it comes with the gift card on top of being on sale.
