What time to arrive if no EE?

We are headed to the parks this week. We are staying off property so we don’t have EE. Advice as far as what time to arrive to park? My daughter is dying to ride hagrids but we know it may not happen. We do have UEP for all of the rides that accept it.

As far as Hagrid’s, I would try early/mid afternoon or nighttime. During early morning, that ride gets crazy busy meaning typically a 2+hour wait. Whereas currently, at 2:34 pm on a Sunday, the app is showing a 60 minute wait.

I would try to arrive around the beginning of early entry so that you are at the front of the offsite crowd. Those without early entry are held in Seuss Landing. As for Hagrid's, you will be facing a 2+ hour wait in the morning due to those staying at the Universal hotels being able to queue an hour before you. I suggest getting in line late afternoon/early evening when people will be eating dinner. I did this in May where it was a posted 60 minute wait (and the wait time is not inflated like they are at Disney sometimes. I did wait the full 60 minutes).

In April (and on a fairly busy theme park day), we waited about 50 minutes for Hagrid's when we jumped in line about an hour before park closing. (Posted wait time was 70 minutes.)

We finished early enough that we were able to jump on Hulk one last time just before park closing.
