What time should we get to the parks in the AM?

I'm a veteran WDW traveler and avid planner, but I just realized I had not put thought into park arrival time. Will be hitting EPCOT on Sat, MK on Sun, and AK on Mon. I have our mornings really planned, with fast passes and individual attractions, to get the most out of them. Plus, I'm new to the new MK rope drop area and show so I really want to cover my bases for MK.

We are staying at Coronado Springs and planning to take resort busses to the parks. Advice as to time to get to the busses and time to get to each park before rope drop would be greatly appreciated!

Buses start running one hour prior to park open. If you want to be near the front of the rope drop crowd, I would catch the first or second bus of the morning.

Buses start running about 6:30 am. If you want to hit headliners in the morning then I'd plan to be AT the park entrance 45-60 min prior to park opening

This! Lots of people rope drop, but don't get there until you 30 minutes or less from opening. It gets very crowded around this time and if you plan on hitting a popular attraction at rope drop getting there within a half hour of rope drop does not really help that much.

Rah at time does MK open to allow You in before RD?

In a futile attempt to limit the spread of misinformation that will. not. die. I say sorry, but this is incorrect.

Really? That's what I've always been told, and that's when I've always caught the bus if we were doing rope drop. When do they start running? It seems silly to not state that in the post that I just quoted.

6:30 am (see post #3).

Yes, really. Even the dang Disney information channels on the onsite room televisions repeat this fallacy, so it's pretty hard to stamp out.

6:30 am (see post #3).

:thumbsup2
