What time should I finish PPO breakfast to get in line to be among the first on the ride?

I have an 8:05 BOG ADR and I want to try for 7 dwarfs and be one of the first to ride. What time should I plan on finishing up? Same question for an 8:05 Akershus ADR trying to get on FEA. Ideally I want to beat the rope drop crowds and actually get a ride in with no wait at all.

It is had to tell. If the MK opens at 8 AM you might as well just stay and enjoy your meal. I have found that BOG is fast, so you can by done in less than 45 minutes.

I am assuming a 9 am open for both parks. I suppose it can change, but with less than a month out, I'd like to assume the times are pretty set.

If park opening is 9, I would be in line for 7 dwarfs by 8:40. When we were there, the rope drop crowd arrived about 8:50.

We left BOG at 8:35 (we did NOT rush breakfast), we had pre ordered and our food came really fast.
When we walked out they had just begun 7DMT and we snagged 2 rides before the rope drop crowd.
I think it depends on how early they start the train.

8:30-8:40. After that then you'll be competing with rope drop crowd

You probably don't want to be there any later than 8:45 if the park opens at 9:00. We had an 8:05 reservation but didn't actually sit down until 8:20, and the food took 15-20 minutes to arrive (we had put in our orders online a week before). We didn't get to 7DMT until about 8:50-8:55, and we could actually see the rope drop crowd arriving just yards away from us. Seeing that mob running up was both hilarious and terrifying...

Keep watching the park hours if it is July. They changed June's in mid to late May I think, just so that you are not caught by surprise.

Thank you. I will. If MK opens earlier, I will just cancel my reservation and make rope drop.

In May, we walked out of BOG at exactly 8:46 and were not allowed on the 7D because the rope drop crowd was already almost there. The following day, we were out at exactly 8:34, were held in a short line, then allowed on and had one ride before the rope drop crowd arrived.

Every day seems to be different and I don't think you can count on any set schedule. I can tell you our experience: we exited the restaurant about 8:35 and were the first people in a short line that was held until about 8:45. Everyone in the line got into the Mine Train queue before the rope drop crowd got there (so...everyone who exited BoG before the rope dropped at 8:47 or so).

Make sure that it's not an Early Magic Morning, the paid morning hours. They are supposedly holding people at BOG on those mornings and then walking them over about the same time as the rope drop crowd comes. People have said they got in one ride but not more.

OK. Looks like prior to 8:45 seems to be the consensus magic number. I hope it works out since I used my FPs for other rides, and I'd really like to try this one this trip.

We walked out of Crystal
palace at 8:45 on 5/12/16 and was "horrified" to see the mass of people just coming into sight as we loaded kids in our stroller. The next morning we ate faster. (We had PPO CP ADRs two days to beat rope drop rope drop; we barely had an edge!)

Interestingly enough - on 5/13/16 we were out of CP earlier and hurried back to 7DMT and the ride was going and people were entering the line but we were not permitted to initially. We had to start a line outside the queue and were permitted to enter queue about five minutes later. Not sure if the ones on the ride were BOG diners or something else. It was a Friday.

Just remember that all you are promised with PPO breakfast is the meal. If you are counting on the mine train and used your FP for other attractions, you may miss the window if the policy changes even for the one day you are there. The perk for a PPO is being in the park prior to RD, and it has only been since BOG and the Mine Train that anyone has gotten a ride prior to RD.
