What time of day do you usually start your DL trip? How early is your flight?

We are leaving the night before. We live in rural Nebraska and it is a 4 1/2 hour drive to the airport. We are leaving at noon on Wed. and get to Denver Intern. for our flight at 6:00. We fly into SNA. Got out park tickets at getawaytoday.com so we have two early entries. We will be in the parks Thurs. - Sat. So our early entries will be Thurs. and Sat. Can't wait!!! :thumbsup2

On our last trip, we flew in the night before (example: left Wednesday late afternoon -- arrived in the evening in CA). We hit the parks Thurs, Fri, and Sat and fly home early Sunday morning. We are doing this same schedule next month. It works great since we have 3 kids -- we only have to take them out of school for 2 days. It is nice arriving the night before so we can get lots of rest before using our EE the next day! A lot of the hotels have a "get the 4th night free" promo, so it works out well :wizard:

We drive down, and leave around 4 am. Which gets us there around 1-2 pm, depending on if we hit any traffic along the way.

It's nice because some of us sleep in the car, making the trip go by quickly. We also try to leave pretty early the day we go home.

We typically drive over or fly early - but we don't go to DL our first day. Usually we hang out by the pool or find other things to do within our hotel or resort area - then start at the park first thing in the morning.

If we DID arrive early this time, since we plan on staying at DLH - DTD would be a nice way to spend our time.
