It was raining pretty hard here earlier. Seems to have stopped now though!My husband called and informed me that our basement had water in it again!
Thank god the heat from the woodstove keeps it from getting moldy down there!
Yeah I saw that we're supposed to get 3-4" of snow tonight too, but it's suppsed to start as sleet for us!![]()
It's 2:48p and 38 degrees and it has stopped raining for now.
To bad about your basement, I do like all the rain. I would rather have this then all the white stuff. But not good for your basement. I think the people next door do the same thing, they also have a woodstove in there house. They had the yard around the foundation dug up last summer. To fill in the cracks, well I don't think that helped. I see the drain pipes going half way out in the yard, because of the rain. I guess the filling of the cracks didn't work. They should have put in a drain pipe under the ground along the foundation.
