Normally we go twice a year, Jan and Aug or Sept, but this year we will be spending Aug in Europe (Disneyland Paris is our halfway point) so I didn't do the marathon in Jan and we won't be going in Aug . If we stick to our budget in August we will be able to afford a quick Halloween trip . We fly out of Rochester so that the airfare is much cheaper.

Its 10:50 here in Norwalk CT and its 14 degrees wery windy with a wind chill of -15 Last night the high wind blew off part of the roof shingles of my old garage and damaged my antique truck

How much cheaper to fly out of Rochester? It cost us $2300.00 out of Ottawa.

Last trip it was $660 Canadian for 4 people, we have done it as cheap as $360 Canadian for all 4 of us round trip. Parking is $4 US per day and you can leave Ottawa at 6am, drive straight there catch the 1:30 direct flight and be having dinner in Disney. There is another flight that allows the kids to go to school almost all day, drive to Syracuse and get to Disney around 11pm.

Coming back we often get an early morning flight out and the kids are in school by 1pm, they love to tell their friends at school, yup woke up at Disney World and now I'm here.

We have tons of airmiles (DH's job) and often times the taxes we have to pay to fly from Ottawa are more then just paying for a flight from the states.
