Very unusual day here, sun is out now and 77 degrees. Been cloudy, drizzle sun, we've run the whole spectrum.

Well it hasn't gotten much warmer! It's 61 degrees and very windy, which makes it feel coldernot liking this COLD feeling! Now I do like it cool at night, but not in the day!

Oh well 5 1/2 more days and I will be in Orlando!!

I was out the door at 8:30am and it was 61 and sunny. Well it's a whopping 67. I took the roof down on the Jeep because I don't know how many more days I will have

It got up to 64 here today and I didn't take mine down, tomorrow should be warmer I will if it is.

Upstate NY - in the mountains, at the lake.. 8:32 pm - 46 degrees.. Last night and the night before it was down in the 30's - with a freeze warning.. Brrrrrr.. Way too early to be this cold.. I'm afraid that winter is going to come very early this year - but considering how wacky the weather has been for months and months now, nothing would surprise me..

Trying not to complain too much though - with the poor state of Texas burning to the ground.. I see that some places had rain today.. I hope a lot more do - soon!!!!!!!

I don't know if you remember, but we were planning on heading to your neck of the woods for the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Alburquerque next month. Well, we're going to put it off until next year now. We found out last month that some friends of ours from back East will be in Las Vegas the first weekend in October, so my husband and I are going there instead.

I'll miss seeing the hot air balloons, but...friends and Vegas...what more can I say!

I get cold just thinking about the winter weather that is on the way for all of you in the cold states. Been there, done that, for many, many years!

Now, we look forward to winter! Our season of beautiful weather is just getting started. Here in Southern Arizona, October through May is absolutely gorgeous...sunshine and warm temps. Of course, I know it isn't for everyone, but we can't get enough of it!

Supposed to warm up a little this week before getting cold later on in the week. If DW and I go, we'll be sure to post a few pics of the Balloon Fiesta. If we go, it will have to be the first weekend (the weekend you will be in Vegas). DW and I will be in the Vegas the following weekend (Columbus Day Weekend). So I know exactly what you mean by friends and Vegas.

As for the weather, back to normal temps for this time of year. Clear and sunny today. No chance for rain. We've had scattered showers here and there, but still battling drought issues.

1:40 pm and it's currently 76.

8:00 pm in beautiful Colorado Springs...High 77, low 44 tonight. We've had snow on Pikes Peak now for about a week now, and the Aspens are turning a beautiful gold. I LOVE Fall!!!!
