Weather forecast for Tempe AZ

Hi 95

Low 69

Currently 76

No Clouds that I can see

It's 9:08a and 58 degrees, I am COLD again:mad:

Someone finally flipped the summer switch and we are supposed to be in the mid 80's a good portion of the week. It is SUPER humid here this morning-where everything feels like it is wet and it's hard to breath. I don't need THAT but warmer temps are welcome. It's 70 right now at 8:30 am with an expected high close to 90.

:sunny: 8:06am bright and sunny in San Diego. 63 on its way to 68. Going to be a beauty all weekend long! :cool1:

HAPPY WEEKEND, Everyone!!! :woohoo:

Smokey here today. Getting all the smoke from the forest fire burning in Arizona. Can even see ashes falling around here.

9:25 am and it's currently 71. Supposed to be another windy day.

We are supposed to have a heat index in the 100's today-good day to stay inside :lmao:. Last week we were still wearing pants and sweatshirts.

It's 10:00a and 61 degrees, they say by the end of the week we will be back in the 90's.

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

It's 9:00am and 45 degrees with rain and wind. It is supposed to be a high of 63 today. Still waiting for spring.

98 degrees at 1:45. It's a cool day here in Tucson.:thumbsup2 :rotfl: The past few days have been around 103. When I got in my car yesterday, the car's temp read 117.

Notes to self: Never leave sunscreen lip balm in the cup holder beside the seat. It wasn't a pretty sight when I opened it and found it to be all liquid. And, start parking the car in the garage, not in the driveway!

I had a visit yesterday afternoon from my cousin that lives in Arizona, she was/is liking our weather these days. It got up to 79 degrees yesterday afternoon and it was :worship:SUNNY too!

It's 8:38a and 63 degrees, they say today will be the last day for low humidity. It comes back tomorrow, just for a few days also high temps with it.

Yeah, but you don't have the HUMIDITY to go with your 103--it's a dry heat, don't ya know :lmao::lmao::lmao:.

Close to 100 again today...cooling off for the rest of the week though, thankfully. We literally went from having heat on one week to needing AC the next. :sad2:

Hi Luv. Need to tell your firefighters to step it up. We're getting smoked out over here. :rotfl: Ok. Not really that funny, but the smoke was really bad yesterday from the Arizona fire. Driving down the road, you couldn't even see a mile down the road. Thanks to the wonderful winds I keep saying will never go away:headache:, they really brought in the smoke yesterday.

Still smokey today. We're under a poor air quality advisory for pretty much the rest of this week and who knows for how long. Now is when we really need the rain, and none in sight. I can usually see the mountains looking out my window at work. Can't see them now because of all the smoke. Not as bad today as it was yesterday.

1:50 pm. Winds are calm for the moment and it's currently 79.

100--it's 100 degrees on June 7th :scared1:

We have hazy skies from the smoke from the AZ fires too--btw, what is burning in AZ, it's all sand and cacti :confused3.

There are satellite photos of the smoke drifting north.

It's 89 and hazy at noon in Queens, NY. The air looks thick :sad2:

What ever happened to spring???? It's supposed to get even hotter this afternoon and tomorrow. I worry about Dh riding the subway in this weather.

It's a wonder your cousin wasn't chilly in the 79 degree weather!:rotfl:

Yeah, but you don't have the HUMIDITY to go with your 103--it's a dry heat, don't ya know :lmao::lmao::lmao:.

Reminds me of a magnet I have on my fridge. It has a tiny thermometer on it and shows a skeleton sprawled out in a lounge chair with the sun beating down on him. Below him it says, "Arizona...it's a dry heat".:rotfl:

True, we have no humidity and it IS a dry heat, but stepping outside is like stepping into a 500 degree oven. The sun shines every day and can be relentless. Seriously though, I will take this dry heat over the East Coast heat and humidity any day!

The good thing about living here is that every place, and I do mean every place, is air conditioned. It is very easy to get out of the heat. And once the sun goes down in the evenings, it is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful breezes. And another thing, there are very, very few bugs here, which makes it a wonderful place for dining outside.:woohoo:

I'll see what I can do! Probably not much! Fortunately for us, but unfortunately for you, the winds are blowing the smoke eastward, away from the Phoenix and Tucson areas. The area of the fires is about 300 miles northeast of Tucson. We haven't even seen any haze from the fires. So sad, though, for everyone affected by the fires.:sad2:

How close are you to Albuquerque?

We have hazy skies from the smoke from the AZ fires too--btw, what is burning in AZ, it's all sand and cacti :confused3.

And don't forget cowboys! Actually there are six national forests in Arizona, mostly in the central part of the state. The fires that are burning now are in the central/eastern area, near the New Mexico border.

Most of the desert areas are in Southern and Southwestern Arizona. Phoenix and Tucson are in the Sonoran Desert, which does consists of a lot of sand and cacti!

10:00 am, sunny and 83 degrees. Going for a high of 100 this afternoon. Just another typical summer day here!:cool1:

It's a wonder your cousin wasn't chilly in the 79 degree weather!:rotfl::

Funny you said that, I just saw a picture of her from yesterday. They are visiting Cape Cod now, she had a sweater on. Now it was in the high 80's yesterday around here. I know on the cape it was a little cool, but she had a sweater on.

I bet she doesn't today!
It's 1:52p and 88 degrees with the humidity it feels like 89. Tomorrow they say will be in the high 90's

I just got a notice from the local paper: School is optional in Hudson, NH due to the heat on Thursday.:confused3

I commute to work to Santa Fe. Which is about 60 miles North of Albuquerque. I live in Rio Rancho, which is just on the outskirts of Albuquerque. It started out as a suburb of Albuquerque a long time ago, before becoming its own city. So for me to be in Albuquerque, its about 5 miles away from my house or a 15 minute drive depending on traffic.

Not as smokey at the moment. Say that will change by the evening. Still can't see the mountains from my office.

12:10 pm and it's currently 81.
