8:35 in the morning and 33 degrees. We should get a taste of the really cold weather later this week. Thursday should have a high in the 30s with a low of 20 degrees.

9:16am Monaday morning.
It is a bone chilling -30 celcius right now. That is minus twenty two fahrenheit.
My truck(2006 nissan frontier) fired up first try. I have an engine block heater, an oil pan heater, and a battery blanket. The battery blanket really helps in those cold temps. I also use synthetic oil. Another thing I like to do is when I am warming up the vehicle I put on the parking brake and shift the transmission into neutral. Helps warm up the trans. a bit too before you go.
