It is the worst month of the year here...November. I hate November.... the sun makes only very rare appereances if at all... most of the time it is like now... at 5:55am.... dark, absolutely chucking down with rain and mixed hail...blowing... YUCK! and it seems like it's dark all day long... seriously you have to have lights on during the day. November always gets me thinking about moving to California!! Short of that... we keep a nice fire going in the woodstove and fireplace in the evening, we have very nice lamps, and I cook a lot of comfort food...and dream about our winter vacation to Disneyland!! oh yes...it's hovering just a few degrees above freezing, so the hail is not sticking....

Well come on down....we would love to have you!!! Hey, smiley_face, I lived my whole life in New England and I feel your pain. Then DH was transferred with his job to SoCal. We are a long way from home and our families BUT I do love this weather 24/7! Not to mention Disneyland 20 minutes away....that HELPED allot!!! I am going on Sunday to check out all the CHRISTMAS decorations!!!!!!!!!

They say it's 52 degrees at 11 in the morning. I know it was 38 at 7 AM! Winter is here - it's cold! We're inland from San Francisco, so we get colder (& much hotter in the summer).

thats cold like i never want to experience.

its 5:35pm here. apparently its 24 celcius (75 F) but it feels alot hotter. its really humid and a little stormy

That's how warm it is here now, and I think it's not bad. Well that is for here at this time of year. As you know I would rather have it in the 70's.
