Upstate NY - Adirondack Mountains - at the lake.. 9:29 pm and it's 30 degrees.. We'll be dropping down into the 20's again tonight.. Way to early for this..

Weatherman says there's a chance we'll return to "normal" temps for this time of year next week.. Keeping my fingers crossed!

20s Stay warm!!

It is 9:13 pm and a warm 80 degrees. We'll be close to 90 tomorrow. We should also return to seasonal temps in the 70s by the weekend.

It is 9:13 pm and a warm 80 degrees. We'll be close to 90 tomorrow. We should also return to seasonal temps in the 70s by the weekend.

It's a "challenge" to stay warm here - that's for sure.. LOL You see, this was built as a seasonal place - so there is no basement, no insulation, water pipes are exposed, etc. - and I only have one wall-mounted electric heater.. (My place is pretty small though - combo living room/kitchen - which is where the heater is located; one large bedroom - that used to be two - and a bathroom..) With the outside temp currently 29 degrees now, the heater is keeping it at around 63 degrees in here.. It has a thermostat so it cycles on and off, but by morning it will probably be about 59 degrees in here.. That's not really "too" bad - just makes me not want to get out from under the blankets in the morning.. LOL

I'm trying to hang in here until my target date of Nov. 1st and then I'll head back to my DD's for the winter..
