It's 8:26a and 17 degrees, was 10 when I got up! Not windyfinally!!! Thank god, if it was it would feel so COLD!

It's 7:30 a.m. and we are at 40 degrees. High today of 70 degrees. Yesterday we were in the high 80's. We don't see snow at all here in our part of Texas. We have many winter visitors also known as "Winter Texans". They usually stay here until it warms up back home for them in March.

My kiddos have never had the chance to see snow. They keep asking me when we can vacation somewhere where it snows!

Pretty much the same weather today as yesterday. Sun is out and the wind has died down. Currently 39 degrees at 9:00 am.

It used to be that we'd head for Florida in the winter for a few weeks to get warm, but now that we're living in Arizona, it doesn't matter as much. To us, anyway! We're going to be in St. Pete's for two weeks in January, but I do hope it's warmer than in the 50s!


1:35pm in Tucson and it's a beautiful day with gorgeous sunshine and a temp of 75. All this week it'll be in the high 70s to low 80s. Actually, that's pretty much what we'll have for the next five months or so.

I do know what it is like to have to deal with the cold and snow, though. I send my condolences to those of you that don't like snowy, cold winters, but are still dealing with them.

And now, I'd like to share a few pics of decorating for the holidays, Arizona-style! Maybe it'll make you feel warmer.
