What time is check in?

You can pre-register anytime. I would suggest not going any earlier than 6am. The computer systems shut down for the night and are usually back online around 4:30 but they have been known to take longer, so 6am is usually the earliest I would say (sometimes the hotel is back online but the ticketing is not so...) When you pre-register they will give you your Key to the World ID card and park tickets (if you have tickets), they will do everything as if you were checking in except give you the room number (unless there is a room ready). If there is a room that is available they will issue it to you, but if not they will pre-assign a room to your reservation and give you a card to with a contact number to call back to get the actual number later in the day. Offical check in time is 3pm for regular resorts and 4pm for DVC resorts...

So anytime after about 6am is fine to go and get situated with the hotel.
