Hi
We are renting a studio and I was wondering what time to come back from the park to check in? Thanks.

DVC check in is after 4pm. They do not guarantee a room will be ready at 4pm. You can actually get room keys anytime after 6am I believe when the systems change over from one day to the next.

Hi

All DVC resorts are after 4:00pm. But it could be ready earlier - when I stayed at Kidani last year, I got there around 11:30 and they texted me that it was ready around 1:00.

We just came back from BCV. I did the online checkin and it asked me for a checkin arrival time, so I put 9am since that is about what time we were estimated to get there. We didn't get there until 9:30 and they saw us walk in the front door and said "You must be The D's, we've been waiting on you. Your villa is ready. We were expecting you at 9." I was shocked because I didn't think we would have one until the evening.

Thanks,

we are staying at asmu night before and we were going to go to mk and have our bags transferred over and arrange grocery delivery.Guess we will leave MK at 3:00.

Could I call from park to see when I could check in?
Thanks

If you wanted to, one of you could go over to AKV in the morning before heading to MK and check in and get your KTTW for the party. Then head to MK from there to meet up with the rest of your group.

In the past when we stayed at a different resort the first night, I was the designed person to head to the new resort and check us all in while my husband and the kiddo slept in. Once our villa was ready at 8AM, so I called them and told them to get everything ready to move over because we were able to get into our villa. We always have a car, so it's easy for us to move our own stuff.

There have been times when the villa wasn't ready until nearly 6PM, though.

Thanks. sounds like it's hit or miss. Is there a max. time they have to have the room ready? ie) not after 6:00?

Also is there a laundry room available for use when staying in a studio?

Not sure I understand the first part of this post about max. time. For your situation, I would have someone go over and check in as soon as possible, and then go to the parks. You will have your room keys etc, and then it wont matter when you get back to the resort, because you will already be checked in. They will give you a number to call to see if your villa is ready.

Yes, there is laundry facilities available for DVC rooms, and they are free of charge, even though they look like coin op machines.
