The campfire sing along (with Chip and Dale) starts at 7pm during the fall/winter season. After the time changes in April, it starts at 8pm, right through the summer. You can bring your own marshmellows or buy them at the Chuchwagon. Marshmellows with sticks are $2.00. Sing along lasts about 40 minutes then they have an animated feature film (Disney, of course). The movie schedule should be posted at all comfort stations. BTW, you can sit in the bleachers or you can bring a blanket.
The campfire and sing along are lots of fun but just a warning if you have young children chip and dale just make a brief appearance and if there are alot of people there you will be lucky to get to meet one of them let alone both of them. So you might want to prepare your children that they will get to see them but they might not get to meet them or get pictures or autographs. Of course I guess that is the same way anywhere the characters are at Disney.
If you look at the one of the threads at the top of this board, you'll see the movie schedule for the current month. Fort Wilderness releases the movie schedule right at the end of the month, for the next month.
Nothing beats the campfire- we are Fort veterans and growing up we spent every night there- i plan on going this year while we are staying at CS. Did i mention i'm 29?
Soooo, would labor day weekend be considered fall or summer? Technically, I know, the equinox says it's still summer, but the fashion magazines all say it's fall by september. So would the movie be at 7 or 8?
