What time for window seat at Walts

Having read all the reviews of Walts am now considering eating there on our forthcoming trip instead of the steakhouse. Wld love a window seat to see the parade but not sure what time the parade will be (will be there 6th and 7th of Feb) as the parade schedule only seems to be available for a week at a time. The parades in Jan look like 5pm on a Sat and 4pm on a Fri so presumably they will be the same early in Feb. So to the point of the question, what time should I book for if the parade is at 5pm and are there lots of window seats? There are 5 of us and I know there is no guarantee of getting one but I would like to do anything I can to increase my chances of getting seats by the window but if they all only seat 2/4 then obviously we won't be able to have one no matter what time we go!!

You can definitely have a window seat as a party of 5 as we have ........ twice.

We've always made our reservation for an hour before the parade, this works out perfectly with the parade timings as we've usually been either just ordering or just starting our dessert when the parade goes past and it gives you some leeway if you have to wait for a table. So if the parade is at 5pm book for 4pm, this gives you an hour and 20 minutes for the parade to reach Walt's. Ask if it's possible for a window seat when you check in. You might want to pop in earlier in the day to ask if you can be allocated a window seat but we didn't do this, we just waited until we got there and we were lucky both times. Good luck on getting one although the restaurant is so lovely you will be happy wherever you are sat.
