what time for my ADR?

We will be day guests at AK on a Tuesday in August. We will travel by car service. My friends on the transportation board tell me that it is fine to use Disney transportation, even though we will not be resort guests. So, my plan is to leave AK and go to AKL via the Disney transportation. We would like to have dinner at Jiko. My question is, if we plan to stay at the park until closing (6PM), what time should I make the reservation for at Jiko? How long should I plan on dining in terms of getting the car back to my hotel?

if the park closes at 6- i would say give yourself at least an hour- to get out of the park- to the car- to the hotel- i would rather be a bit early than late. if your table is not ready you can always tour the grounds.

say 2 hours to eat- and again if you get done before your car arrives- relax and walk around the resort.

i'd leave an hr also...it will only take a couple mins travel time but if you are planning on using disney transport, it can take an hr.( took us 45 mins to cross the lake from mk to poly once due to waiting for boats). you can always look around the resort or watch the animals if you are early
