What time for AC check in @MCO

I have the early 7:30 flight from mco to toronto at 7:30. on a thursday. Does anyone know what time check in opens? Taking MDE from ASM and they have the 4hr prior to departure pick up....seems crazy for that early pick up. Any input??

At that time of morning you only need about a 3 hour departure ahead. I believe their counter opens at 5 am.

DME will still pick you up from the resort 4 hours ahead of time. A few years ago, I had an Air Transat flight that departed MCO about 7:30 in the morning and DME did pick us up at 4:30am. Keep in mind, they will most likely be stopping at other resorts before heading to the airport.

If you can print your boarding passes at the All star, being at the airport 1 1/2 hours before your flight is plenty of time. Unless the Thursday you are talking about is U.S. Thanksgiving.

Just a fyi for anyone using magical express, you can call and request a change to your pick up. I nwgotiated a pick up of 4:25...so 3 hour prior to departure. Still ridiculously early for a 7:30 departure since we arrived at MCO before 5:30.

I have experienced very slow airline check-in at MCO (both AC & AirTran), and have breezed through security while one time almost missed a flight because of insane lines for security.
Long story short there are many sources of delay, always make your airport arrival time not one of those!

YUP- MCO is notorious for long security lines and slow check in... I have no idea why, but of all the airports I frequent (I fly throughout NAmerica biweekly) this seems to be the worst one for a backlog at security. I Have seen my share of families screaming at one another under the stress of missing/almost missing their flights.

Plan to get there early just to be safe. Once you clear security and take the tram to your gates there is a lot of space to relax and a few restaurants and stores to pass the time.

(This coming from a Nexus pass holder who normally times my airport arrival for literally dropping a bag at check in and walking onto a plane for boarding-but not at MCO!!.)
