Last trip was two years ago, and FW opened at 9 (well, 8 for us because EMH that morning!) but WS not til 11. But I keep reading about people running to Norway for FEA at RD. Does WS open the same time as FW now?

World showcase 11am
Norway opens at 9

If Norway didn't open until 11am then just like when they first did that with the Ana and Elsa meet and greet, they'd have people lined up for 2 hours waiting for Frozen ride to open

FEA (and possible the bakery) open at 9am. The French bakery also opens at 9. You can only reach Norway by going to the left towards Mexico from future world and the bakery to the right towards Canada if you are coming from future world. International Gateway you have to take the UK, Canada, Mexico, Norway path as you won't be able to go around past France.

Bummer.
We are early morning people, and it seems like we are running out of things to do in FW by the time WS opens - then, we are getting tired and worn out before we've even seen half of WS and ready for our afternoon break. We return late afternoon, but somehow i never feel like I've really gotten to see it all.

Probably doesnt help that in two trips to EPCOT so far, it has rained sign

Try to plan a day that starts in WS so you haven't already expended half your energy in FW. Plan it as a later-start day and skip the afternoon break. I know you say you are "early morning people" but maybe plan this for a day after you've had a late night. Either hang at the resort in the morning or plan a mid-morning breakfast somewhere (maybe at the Beach Club), then mosey over to WS; stay in the park all day, with a TS dinner planned for a rest break. We always plan 2 days for Epcot -- 1 starts at FW and 1 starts in WS.

Enjoy your vacation!

Thanks for the suggestion :flower1:. I appreciate the effort!
We are very much routine people - a late night for us is 9:30 or 10, even on vacation! DS has autism and keeps the same schedule year round, so it's out of bed by 6 or 7 even in the summer. So not going to the park first thing would never work (plus we only eat counter serve, he can't handle the waits in regular restaurants so that's not even a good time waster option for us!).
I think maybe just getting ONE trip to EPCOT without massive rain would make a huge difference! Our first trip, the morning was ok but when we returned to further explore WS, it was a downpour that lasted a couple hours so we finally gave up - WS isn't the best area for walking around in a heavy downpour. Our second trip, it actually rained heavily almost every single day (we had temps in the 70's in July, it was heavenly to me because I actually don't like heat and the rain kept the crowds down) so FW wasn't bad, running from pavilion to pavilion, but WS wore us out maybe partly due to being in the rain ALL DAY (this was not a typical fast moving Florida rain shower!). I considered spending our extra half day at Epcot, we have four full day so one per park (and no hoppers) and arrival day which should be before noon - but I just feel like arrival day NEEDS to be MK, and DS would probably prefer a second MK day, even though his favorite ride is Soarin!
