What time does Toontown open?

Toontown used to open one hour after regular park opening every day. Now that Toontown has reopened, is it back to its old schedule or does it now open when the park opens?

Looks to me like all the attractions open at 8.

I saw that too, but I was hoping someone who had been there since the reopening could confirm.

It opens when the park opens. It then closes at 8pm on nights with fireworks and reopened after around 10pm and closes again at park close.

I'm a huge Disneyland fan and enjoy spending lots of time exploring the park. Next month is my first visit since Mickey's Toontown opens. I've ridden Railway many times At Hollywood Studios but I can't wait to experience the queue at Disneyland.
My questions are:

1. How much time should I set aside to explore the entire land and ride the rides?
2. Is it better at night (like Fantasyland) or day?
3. When it closes at 8 for Fireworks, does everything close, or do some things stay open?

I appreciate any advice the Dis community can give me for trip planning!

When it closed at 8pm the whole land closes. It then reopens around 10/10:15.
