What time does Tom Sawyer's Island generally close?

Is it the same time year round/certain number of hours before park closing/at dark? This is one of my husband's must-dos, and we may only be at MK for a DAH this trip. I'm trying to figure out if he would have enough time to experience in the time between admission and the official start of the event.
