Just wondering what time the late dinner seating ends (I know you can leave whenever you want - but what time is dessert usually served/finished)?

Also, the shows are scheduled for 6:30pm and 8:30pm......does anyone know how long the shows generally run? And how early do you have to get to the show to get a seat?

I am looking at personal navigators that others have posted and I'm trying to see what I can do if I have the early show (6:30pm) and the late dinner (8:30pm).

Any information would be greatly appreciated so that I can plan accordingly.

We were usually out before 10.

I have always done early seating but our friends had late on the 9/11 cruise and they were usually just getting out of dinner close to 10pm.

The shows are usually around an hour to hour and 1/2!

We never went to the shows more than 10mns prior and never had a problem finding a seat. Of course it depends on how full your ship is. You'll get a seat, just might not be the seat you wanted!;)

Out of late dinner by 10 usually and the shows are basically one hour. So, you have an hour before your dinner if you have the 6:30 show.

There are always game type shows or other entertainment around the ship to fill up that one hour if you want....

On our last cruise it we usually left dinner between 10:15 and 10:30. It seemed like our wait staff ALWAYS served our table LAST. We did miss a few of the "adult" cabarette shows because of the length of dinner. But we have decided that we do like the late seating better than the early seating.

THe shows in the WDT never go over an hour (sometimes it seems like they do though)

Here is what we usually do.
1) Be ready for the first show at 6:30 by 6:20.
2) After the show (around 7:30) go to the family cabarette show in Rockin' Bar D or to one of the family game shows up in Studio Sea (Mickey Mania, Walk The Plank)
3) Go to dinner
4) Hopefully have time to go to the adult cabarette show (if it's someone we like)
5) Used to go to Dueling Pianos later in the evening - but alas, it's gone from the Magic

We were usually finished eating by 9:45, but our server is known to be fast. DD would excuse herself by 10 to go to the Stack, and the "grown ups" would linger over coffee.

The shows are just under an hour, and then there is cabaret/variety type stuff as well as karoke, dancing, etc. till late dinner starts.
