What time does Splash Mountain open? I have heard that either Frontierland or Adventureland attractions don't open until 10 am if the regular park opening is 9 am. How does Extra Magic Hour affect the ride opening?

All the "mountains" open at the posted opening time.
All the "mountains" stay open until the posted closing time.

During MORNING EMH, Splash doesn't open until regular park opening time.
(It is not a MORNING EMH attraction.)

During EVENING EMH, Splash stays open until 3 hours after the regular park clolsing time.
(It IS an EVENING EMH attraction).

Where did you hear that ANY land opened later?

Tom Sawyer's Island is a late-opener and early-closer.
Maybe the Swiss Family Treehouse, Tiki Room, Mark Twain (?) Steamboat are late-starters (don't know).

Everything else at MK is open as usual, AFAIK.

DISNEYLAND (CA) is rather infamous for rides opening later than posted park-open times.

Mickey's Toon Town Fair, which is off of or behind (however you want ot look at it) Fantasy Land opens an hour after the park opens. It's rope drop is at 10am.

That sounds right.
I hardly ever GO there (I do see it from the steam train when it stops), so I just forgot it even existed.

Maybe they should call it "Mickey's Toontown LAND" so at least it would fit with all the other "land" names. ;)

You might be thinking of the Jungle Cruise -- it normally doesn't open until 10am on days when the park opens at 9.

When we were there in April, Mickey's Toontown Fair definately did not open until 10 am. We gently persuaded a CM to let us sneak in and use the restroom there about 5 minutes before the rope drop to that section.

Ohhh, that's clever. That would ensure a first ride on the barnstormer with Goofy. ;)
