What time do you usually have dinner?

We used to eat dinner around 7:30, but now my DH is taking night classes from 5:45 to 9:00. We have been eating at 9 or 9:15, when he comes home from class but this seems awfully late! And not good for our waistlines either.

I'm thinking of switching dinner to 5:15 although this seems so early to me. What time does your family have dinner?

About 6:15, right when I get home. I admit it: My dad cooks for us!

We have dinner rather early, usually between 4:30 and 5:00.

When i was on maternity leave (and home all day) I had dinner on the table about 5-5:30. I like to eat this early because then it gives you plenty of time to do things in the evening. Now that I am back to work, we usually don't get home til 5:45 so Dinner usually isn't on the table until somewhere between 6:30 and 7. I hate eating this late.....

If we don't have work or anything it's 4:30-5ish. If we do, if he gets home on time and cooks, it's around 5:15-5:30. Otherwise, it's whenever I get it cooked, so after 5:30

usually around 5, occasionally dh and I don't eat until 6 (the kids always eat around 5). I personally like eating early. I'd definitely give it a shot and see how it goes...no way could I eat at 9...just too late for me.

I work until 6:30pm, and then with an hour drive home ontop of that.. . and by the time myself of my fiance cooks, it is usually around 8pm or so.

6:30 usually. If we go to a popular restaurant whe try to get there at 6pm to avoid a long wait.

During the week we eat at about 6:45. I prefer to eat earlier than this, but DH does not get home until about 6:30-6:45 and I really try to get us all to eat together. On the weekends we like to eat about 5:30, that is really an ideal time for me!

Between 5:00 and 5:30. I work until 5-5:30 but since I have a home office, I can get the meal started, and when I'm done for the day, dinner is about ready.

usually 6ish for us, but it can vary from 4:30 until 9pm depending on the circumstances.

As long as you don't snack before dinner, you won't gain more weight by eating later, especially if you exercise earlier in the evening. A calorie is a calorie is a calorie.

Since I don't get off work until 8:30 we eat dinner late. If I make it before work we eat about 9:00 if I am lazy and wait until I get home we eat around 10:00.

Lately it has been around 5:00. Dh's new job allows him to leave MUCH earlier then his old job so he is home around 5. The kids' practices start around 6 or 6:30 so it workd well!

Depends on the day. During the week, DH and I eat at 8 or 8:30, depending on when we are home from work and what I am cooking.

On Saturdays, we eat between 4 and 5 most times.

Sundays, we always do a meal with either my parents and siblings, or his parents and siblings. When it's my family, we eat around 1 PM, his family, around 4.

During the school year we usually eat right around 6pm, but for some reason in the summer that gets moved way back and we eat anywhere from 7 to 8:30pm or so. Too hot to cook maybe

Anywhere from 5:30-6:30. I aim for about 6 but it depends on what I"m making, what time I get home from work, and about a million other factors!
