just wondering. I think we are trying to be at MK for NYE and trying to get all of it done before it's too late.

We were in MGM for last New Years Eve...we had an ADR at 50s PrimeTime Cafe for 8pm....We did not get seated until well after 9pm...crowds were incredible and it seemed as though most earlier guests were taking their time with desert!! PTC got all backed up with its ressies.

Choose a time that you are comfortable with, arrive early and expect some wait....

We had a 7:30pm NYE ADR for Crystal Palace (2004). We finally checked in at 8:10pm after having stood in line since 7:10pm and were seated just about 9:00pm. It was awful trying to get out of the restaurant after dinner with all of the crowds waiting for the "countdown".

I would go as early as you can stand to eat dinner (definitely earlier than 7:30pm) and then plan for some snacks.

Just keep in mind if you plan on going to MK for NYE you need to get there very early, the park will close to guest by mid morning. I would make dinner reservation early. I would try for about 5pm so if the park gets to be to much and you leave at least you have had dinner, and you could grab something light has the night goes on. We were in Disney this past NYE, we had dinner at Shula's at 5:30 and then went to Epcot around 9pm. There weren't many people eating at that time so we got right in, we were able to take our time the crowd didn't start until we were leaving at 7pm. We have been to Disney for NYE a few times and always had dinner early and got in rather quickly because of the early times.

While we were not at MK last NYE we were at Epcot. We ate at off times - 4pm for "lunch/dinner" and then did counter service and snacks till midnight. At Epcot many of the counter locations ran out of their more popular items and we did wait in line for quite a while - so just be prepared :)

I made my ADR for this coming NYE at the beginning of July. I have a 6:30 ressie at Le Cellier in EPCOT.
