We are planning on staying until it is over since there seems to be some things we can do easier once the crowds have thinned out some...like trick or treating...and the villians meet and greet. We are going to try and get DD to nap during the day but we will have a stroller for her if she gets sleepy. She is a night owl anyway so not sure we will have any problems with her.
We closed the place down both nights we went (9/16 & 9/19.) The park really started to empty out by about 10:45. We had the place to ourselves (or at least it felt that way) for the last hour.
Usaually after second parade it gets pretty empty, we always stay until the end. The day of we make a resort day, swim at pool and such and then everyone take a little nap so they are ready for the all nighter.
We walked out of the Haunted Mansion at 12:07 and left the park at 12:40 after shopping on Main St a few minutes. Things were pretty much cleared out by then but were told the trams in the parking lots ran until 2:00.
That was the last thing we did last year as well. It was a few minutes away from 12 as we walked out of the HM exit. Coincidentally enough, we missed the only rain shower of the evening while we were on it, too.
we always stay till the end and then some. The stores are usually still open. Depending on the day of the week we go and the weather, it usually dies down after 11p. We have caught a bus back as late as 1:30 AM.
We went on the 7th and by 10:15 PM we were beat. Pretty early for 3 adults We walked on just about all the rides and had tons of candy. Next time we will definetely take a nap in the afternoon lol
