What time do you leave Disney World for Cruise Ship?

My sister and I are going on our first ever cruise in December. We are starting off with 3 nights in Disney World. Does anyone know what time we will leave Disney World on Sunday to get to the cruise line? I'm beginning to work out an agenda and I need to know how much time we will have that day. Thanks for any responses!!!

If you are driving yourselves give yourself a little more than an hour. So if you want to be on the ship around 12 leave Disney by say 10:30 so you leave time for check in etc. Hope this helps.

We took the DCL transfer from BC-bus arrived to load up at 11:30am-departed 11:45 am. Arrived at Port shortly after 1pm

Their cruise buses go several times a day from WDW to the port, but you have to have booked the land and sea package to use their transportation.
They wont let anyone on the ship until 12 or 12:30 and everyone is suppose to be on by 4 p.m. so they can participate in the safety life boat drill. That is required by law. However we have seen disney buses unload after that time when they were delayed. You can't go to your room until 1:30 so if you arrive early you can enjoy a nice buffet lunch while you wait.
We live in Kissimmee, close to WDW and it takes us about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to the port, depending on the traffic.

You can purchase a DCL transfer without booking a land/sea (we did-booked everything separately for our stays before and after cruising). You just purchase them as a part of your cruise then go to the cruise desk before hand-they cannot check you in there-you have to check in at port to get you KTTW etc. A DCL transfer ticket is included in your cruise docs when they arrive.

We like to be one of the first ones there, so we leave around 9:00 to get there a little before 10:30. But then we have to wait until noon to get on (we get in the line in front of the ears). When my girls are older and they don't care about it so much, I would probably try to get there more around 1:30 or 2:00, so we could go right to our room.

We left the WL at 9am. Got to PC a little after 10 and were 2nd in the queue after we checked in.

We usually have a limo/towncare drop us off at PC; most times when we are in WDW we don't need a rental.

Since the driver knows his way and normally travels between 70 - 80 mph while on the Bee Line Expressway (528) which is a large portion of the 65 mile trip it usually doesn't take more than 45 minutes.

If you drive yourself or take a DCL transfer allow closer to 1:15 to 1:30 minutes.

We also like to leave around 9:00 AM like others have said, but it isn't necessary unless you want to be one of the first onboard. Although the late morning rush is more than most want to deal with when going on vacation, but it's your call.

Julie, what resort are you staying at? That will be the fifference in when DCL transportation picks you up....they stagger the resort pickup so not everyone arrives at once Beach Club is picked up first and AK is last....I believe its about and hour and a half difference....

We weren't given a choice of pickup times-told to be in the Atrium at BC at 11:15.

BC IS the first to be picked up......and yes, it ia around 11:15 then they go to the Swan and Dolphin, we stayed at POR in 03 prior to our Easter and I believe pickup there was 12:15.....
