What time do you book OHANA if you want to see Wishes from your Table?

Thanks!

When I want to see Wishes from 'Ohana I usually try to book about 45 minutes before Wishes is scheduled. That gives time to be seated if the reservations are running a bit behind schedule, plus then there is time to get a bit of eating in without trying to watch the fireworks and eat at the same time!!

Have a great visit!!

So know matter what table you sit at in Ohana you get a view of the fireworks?

No. There are very few tables with a good view. If you'll be at 'Ohana during Wishes you should plan on going down to the beach to see it, and if you luck out and get a good table, that's a bonus.

We usually book about an hour ahead and let them know we'll wait for a window table.

'Ohana is shaped like a big "U," and the tables on the sides (especially the side closest to the Transportation and Ticket Center) don't have as great a view--if any view at all.

Though everyone's allowed to go to the window area to watch the fireworks, we enjoy getting a table right next to the window so that we don't have to move when they begin (thus telling the folks at the check-in that we'll wait for a window table).

We were there in March. Our ADR was for 6:45 and it took us a while to get seated (I think this is pretty normal), so we were seated shortly after 7, we were finished with our main course and almost ready for dessert when they lowered the lights and the music started! :cloud9: Wishes was at 8 that night.

You can't see the fireworks from everywhere, but I would guess that maybe 70% of the tables have some kind of view. There are a few trees in the way in some areas and you may not have the "perfect" view, but you can still see them....If you're going specifically to see the fireworks, I would suggest you request a seat to view them, which will probably mean a longer wait...OR I would go out to the Poly beach and watch them from there (which I think I would rather do anyway)

Hope that helps!

I didn't even know you could see the fireworks from Ohana until our dinner. We had what I believe was an 8:00 dinner reservation, we were buzzed for our seats about 8:15 and they walked us over to our table, which was right against the glass with a dead center view of the castle, I was amazed but I wasn't thinking about fireworks at the time. So 9:00 comes and we are eating our dinner when the lights dim and the Wishes music starts playing, I couldn't believe our view!

Anyways I think we were lucky in that we were a party of two, it seemed like the room was full of groups of 4 or more and the table at the window only sat 2.

Just so you know, it's very difficult to get a window table with a fireworks view at Ohana. If you request it when you arrive, it could still take hours for you to actually get a table.

When we went last May I had it scheduled 30 mins before!! We got the best seat in the house too. All the way in the right hand back corner castle smack dab right in front of us!!!

What's even better is watching it from the Beach. If you do that I would make the aADR 2 hours before Wishes.
